How to use the Kōgu Gua Sha

How to use

  1. Prep your skin- Apply your favourite serum, facial oil or moisturiser.

  2. The neck – Using medium pressure, sweep the gua sha down the neck from the jawline towards the collarbone with the inwardly curved side of the tool. Repeat this sequence three to four times before moving to the opposite side.

  3. The jaw – Make sweeping motions across the jawline, starting at the chin, and moving the tool upwards towards the ear. Repeat this movement three to four times before moving to the opposite side.

  4. Cheeks – Using the longest side of the tool, start above the mouth and pull the gua sha upwards, following the contours of the cheekbones. Move the tool upwards, towards the side of the nose and continue to follow the contours of cheekbones towards the hairline. Repeat this movement three to four times before moving to the opposite side.

  5. Eyes – Use the longest curve of the gua sha, place the tool flat against the inner corner of the eye. Ensuring that you apply gentle pressure, sweep outwards towards the hairline. Repeat this movement three to four times before moving to the opposite side.

  6. Forehead – Using the longest side of the tool, drag the gua sha upwards from above the eyebrows towards the top of the forehead. Repeat this movement three to four times before moving to the opposite side.

How to care for your face roller

Gently use a damp, soft cloth with an antibacterial solution. Clean the Gua Sha after each use.
